Just two quick reminders for those of you who are participating in the Ubuntu Global Bug Jam. First of, please remember to add your Local team to the list! This is to help people find teams in their area, so please get your information up there, even if it’s TBD, and fill it out later.
Also, this Friday Daniel and I will be hosting “How to Run a Bug Jam” sessions in IRC on #ubuntu-classroom – so if you want to be involved and need help, drop on by. All the scheduling information is here.
HI Jorge
It sounds good with the IRC sessions, and you can count me in.
There is something I’m missing though, because running a bugjam does not seem troublesome to me, but if a local user group does not have anyone experienced with bug triaging, the technical challenges seems greater than the organizational ones.
There are a lot of documentation to be read if a team is new to this, so could it not be an idea to have some IRC sessions like the ‘running bugjams’ session for newcomers? Some ‘how to get started with triaging’ sessions…

Hi Martin, thanks for writing in. This is a great idea, perhaps we can use the hug days between now and then for some training sessions. On it!
